Thin-Crust Pizza

A gluten-free pizza crust that won’t leave you feeling greasy.

Thin-Crust Pizza

  • 1 1/4 cups gluten-free 1-to-1 baking flour
  • 1 cup quinoa flour
  • 1 tbsp date sugar
  • 1 packet pizza yeast
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2/3 cup very warm water
  • gluten-free cornmeal

In a large bowl, stir together flours, date sugar and yeast. Add applesauce and water and mix well. Knead dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, adding more flour as needed.

Preheat oven to 425. Cover a 12″ pizza pan with a dusting of cornmeal to prevent sticking. Place the ball of dough in the middle of the pan and spread flat with wet hands. Add toppings and bake for 25 minutes or until crispy.
